OUR AIM

Bangkok is home to around 5,300 refugees and asylum seekers from more than 40 countries residing in urban areas. Across Thailand, government figures count over 592,000 stateless people, roughly 169,000 of them children.

Thailand has never signed the 1951 Refugee Convention and has no national asylum system.

For children with disabilities, without legal status, there's no path to subsidized equipment, so something as basic as a wheelchair or gait trainer can take years to reach a child who needs it now.

Our aim is simple: close that gap one child at a time, starting with the families we already see every week.

WHAT WE DO

A child waiting for a wheelchair doesn't experience it as a funding gap. They experience it as school they can't get to, play they can't join, a year of growing up spent waiting.

Every week, our members work alongside Tzu Chi's medical team, taking patient vitals, translating for families, and supporting the clinic's IT needs.

We raise funds to close that wait, covering equipment, surgery, and rehabilitation costs, and making a direct impact for the people who need it most.
